The ML 63 AMG is the potent, sports focused model of Mercedes Benz M-Class mid size luxury SUV range. It is the perfect Q car because it looks quitaa unassuming and it is more entertaining to drive than a BMW M5. The AMG built 5.5litre twin- turbo V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 760Nm of torque. The wisdom of high performance variant of a big, heavy and aerodynamically challenge SUV is debatable, custmor demand is strong and Mercedes has responded with the most powerful ML 63 AMG to date. In this massive rubber at all four corners provided gobs of grip and the chassis was incredibly stable at speed. The unique "V8 BITURBO"badging hints at what lurks under the hoods and also clarifies the switch from the outgoing models 6.2liter engine. So, it stands to reason then that the ML, with just 2.3 tonnes to ferry around should be even more impressive. And it was! It is lower to the ground and as a result , felt almost like a sports sedan around some of the corners. In this five passenger cabin is dressed up with special touches like a special four spoke steering wheel and AMG badge incorporated into the backrests of the seats. In addition to the speed, the ML is also quite good looking and really quite luxurious inside. It is best in quality and space. Refinement is also good in this car.
So, as excessive speed machine go, this one is second to none.
